Finca Arriba is a unique glamping spot with two wooden cabins and a bell tent. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, this is a perfect place for those who are looking for something different. You can find us in the mountains between Granada and the Costa Tropical, on a ten-minute drive away from the small and charming village Otivar. We would like to welcome you in Finca Arriba, where we can offer you peace, space, freedom and healthy meals in a green environment with a breathtaking sea and mountain view.

Formula
You can choose an overnight stay or a tailor-made holiday including
(sports) activities. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have something special in mind.

Breakfast
Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we daily offer a healthy and varied breakfast. We have things
for the sweet tooth visiting, but also for those who like their breakfast savory.
Breakfast is included in the price.
Garden
We’ve created multiple spots to enjoy the sun or simply relax in the shadow, while surrounded by local flowers, lavender, rosemary, olive and almond trees. An old water tankis converted into a natural pool.
Kitchen
For those who prefer to prepare your own food, that is possible in a basic kitchen that is put at our guest’s disposal.
A fridge, cooking stove, pots and pans, plates, cutlery and a sink are available at your convenience.
Ecology
We were overwhelmed by nature the first time we saw this beautiful place.
Being here, demands respect for the
ecosystem.
Dinner (optional)
If you’re not in the mood for cooking, you can book a delicious meal. We can offer a BBQ with fresh fish, a home-made paella, pizza baked in our self-made pizza oven or a vegan meal. Al depending on the season (and the inspiration).
SEE & DO
Hiking
If you like to hike, we can show you several ones, starting at our finca. Some are easy,
but if you like a challenge,
we can show you the more difficult routes.
You can even walk to the Rio Verde, between the advocado, chirimoya and other tropical trees and have a refreshing swim in the natural pools.
Beach
For those who prefer a relaxing day at the beach we suggest Almunecar (which is closest to our Finca), La Herradura and Salobrena. The beaches of Costa Tropical have many coves with loads of water sports opportunities.
Bike Rides
The surroundings are perfect for both road
and mountain biking.
One of the most scenic climbs of Spain,
La Carretera de la Cabra passes Otivar.
When you start your tour at Almuñecar you climb 36 kilometers, up to 1300 meters
(with an average of 5%). The climb can off course also start at our finca.
Cultural Sites
Malaga and Granada are just an hour away from our finca. We highly recommend a visit to the Alhambra in Granada, which is UNESCO World Heritage. It’s an absolute highlight and a stunning reminder of the Moorish influence in Andalucía.
Other Sports
The adventurous amongst us can go canyoning. And while descending, don’t forget to enjoy the beauty of the crystal-
clear water and the natural pools.
For adrenaline addicts we recommend paragliding. Feel free as a bird while floating over the breathtaking natural park
of the Sierras de Tejeda Almijara y Alhama.

Gourmands as we are, we can show you our favorite addresses around.
There are many restaurants and cafés in the
historical center of Almunecar as well at the beachside. For those who want to enjoy local food, a bit closer to our finca, Otivar also has a nice restaurant.
